Neurologist
With a special interest in acute and chronic pain therapy.
I acquired the specialty of neurologist at Riga Stradiņš University and by working and studying in Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University hospital, where I continue to work as an on-call neurologist and in the outpatient clinic.
While studying and after starting my practice I developed an interest in different forms of acute and chronic pain, especially headaches, because they are common, often neglected and with a huge impact on our quality of life. I consult patients with different types of vertigo and dizziness, acute and chronic back pain, somatoform disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, stroke prophylaxis and different other neurological conditions.
I regularly improve and complement my knowledge in the field of neurology. After completing a course in one of the methods of psychotherapy I have gained an in depth perspective on how our life experiences can affect our physical, mental and emotional health.
